What are the computer operating system requirements for DataTouch software applications?
The software is designed to run on externally facing (Internet-connected) Windows 10 and Windows 11 personal computers. If the computer is not Internet-connected, there is very little chance that estimate information is being scraped. The software could also be installed on servers, but most servers installed in shop environments are only used for internal file sharing purposes with client computers in the shop. It is the client computers (Windows 10 and Windows 11) that should be protected.

What is required of me, as the end user, to install DataTouch software?
The only requirement to install Data Auditor is to simply click on the provided link after completing the online registration. After installation of the software, the user must enter the registration codes to activate the software via the Internet.

What training is required to use Data Auditor?
No training is required.

Will DataTouch software require me to make any changes or limit the functionality of current licensed versions of software running on my desktop or client-server network?
DataTouch Auditor does not interfere with any currently installed software applications. It runs in the background and will not be visible from your desktop.

When and how will I receive a report that tells me how many repair estimate software controls and/or data pumps are running on my computer system(s)?
Data Auditor will run for no less than 10 business days to ensure all the estimate information being scraped is being detected and reported back to you.

When will I receive a report that tells me what companies have their software controls and/or data pumps installed on my shop computer system(s)?
A full report will be available within one month of installing Data Auditor.

What is the fee for Data Auditor and what are your billing requirements?
There is a one-time fee to be paid upon completion of your registration. You will be required to provide your credit card information via a secure third-party website.
